Week 3

School has started, our kids are getting into a routine, and we have a Saturday off from football!!

This week is our "Bye" week so we won't be playing a game this Saturday, Sept. 15th.  Hopefully the weekend off and two weeks of practice without a game will help our Sharks to victory at our next game.  Our next game is Saturday, Sept. 22nd at Prairie High School vs. Cougars at 10 AM.  Please be at the field at 9:15 AM.

New idea! Since we haven't scored our first touchdown YET, our "Touchdown Can" is a little light. So far we have collected $14.00 in the can (profit from the lanyards).  Instead of calling it a "Touchdown Can" we are going to call it "Great Play Can".  Every time there is a great play made by our Sharks (offensively OR defensively), I will pass around the can. Hopefully it will go around 3 -5 times per game. Remember this money goes to the end of the season celebration; any spare change or bills are appreciated!!  I will count the money each week and let you know how we stand.  We also have our $150 gift card from the Cookie Dough sales!

Shirts/Sweatshirts Orders:
These should be delivered early next week to practice.

Sweatshirts from Cookie Dough Sales:
These will be delivered with photos from the league.  I will keep you posted on approximately when that will take place.

Remember to keep your Shark hydrated! Even when the weather changes, it is important that kids have enough fluids in them.  The forecast for next week shows us still in the upper 80s.

Practice today - no practice tomorrow (Friday).
Next week will follow the same schedule - No practice on Monday/Friday; Practice on Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays.
